Pregnancy Woes

Pregnant and tired and sick and uncomfortable and tired oh and did I mention pregnant!! If you have been pregnant before you are rolling your eyes at me right know, thinking to your self "oh Lindsay give me a break we have all done it"! I am gonna be honest here, I am not a great pregnant woman! I like being pregnant (sometimes) and I definitely like the end result (the baby, not the pushing) but everything in between is not my favorite!
For example
• first trimester sickness
• boobs getting massive (mine anyways)
• every part of your body hurting
• being insanely hungry all the time (actually sounds fun but isn't)
• all the invasive things they have to do to you ( internals, group b swab, more internals, blood work and the lost goes on)

These are not fun things for me, or for any woman for that matter. Most of my friends look at me with pathetic eyes and listen to my woes! Good friends!!

Oh geesh Iam such a complainer, well at least Iam honest! Right?
The fun part comes for me in 2 weeks!! They are inducing me at my 38 mark!! Pretty excited to have this child in my arms and not in my tummy!! :) not excited for the labour! I have been dreaming alot about labour in the last week or so and the dreams are awful!! Ekkkk! I have definitely got my self all worked up! I know what to expect which scares me more than it did the first time! The first time you have no idea what's a comin!! The second time.....ohhhh I know what's coming!!Richard said to me in love and honesty the other day as I reframed from yelling, " Iam so nervous for labour Lindsay"!!!! Hahah your nervous! Your not doing it i am! I did reframe from yelling or laughing and just smiled at him.(grin) MEN!

As I sit here writing this iam in the maternity ward getting a routine NST test to make sure baby is doing ok. One more funny story:
Literally five minutes ago one of the older OB's just came in and sat down by my bed and said, " how many weeks are you" Me "almost 36". He continues to tell me how high my blodd presure is and how my urine came back with to much protein in it!!! He than says " time to have this baby"!!! WHAT!!!!!! I thought i was doing good, I thought my blood pressure was good and baby was fine. My head is spinning and iam starting to sweat!!! I than look over at his chart and see a different name; last name "Coles" not "Nicolle"!!!!!! I precede to tell him he has the wrong chart!! OH BOY! I than hear arguing in the hall way and then i am left sitting here all alone with no explanation to what is going on. I beep the nurse she comes back in, "were so sorry your fine, that was the wrong chart he had"!!! GEESH. So I am headin home and they cant stop me, hehe!

Thought that would be a funny ending to my pregnancy woes!! God has a sense of humor!!

In the End, aside from all the yucky invasive things that need to happen in order for me to have this baby, I am truly excited and blessed to have this baby inside of me and soon in my arms!! This little guy is a gift and i will try my hardest to suck it up and think of the wonderful end result, a baby boy!!!

The end
