Ohhhhhh that mom...........

Are you a new mom? Is it your first time nursing/bottle feeding. Managing to take a shower between feeds, making dinner while a baby screams, some how trying to keep the house clean while the baby is attached to your chest. Is it your first time saying good bye to your baby while you entrust them to a preschool. Pregnant and tired and getting your excited three your old ready for 2 1/5 hours of preschool. Glorious 2 1/5 hours!!! (admit it) Or maybe your the first time kindergarten mom. DING DING DING. Thinking "i got this!" How hard could it be? Get the kid dressed, make lunch, make sure the hair on their head looks somewhat normal. Get in the car and go. Traffic lots of traffic. Kids screaming and talking, and asking relentless amounts of questions. for example: "mom why is their so many cars?" "mom can I have my snack?" "mom why was Zach born?" "Mom when can I have ice-cream." It continues until you say "NOOOOOOO more questions!!" You get to school. Its cold you forgot a sweater for your kid. Your 3 year old undresses him self in the play ground. You forgot it was picture day, the baby is screaming, you drop the soother in dirt. Bell rings you kiss your oldest baby good bye and get to the van. You smash your toe on the van. (your sweaty, gross amounts actually) Get Baby in, fight 3 year old to get in, realize gradual entry preschool is earlier than you thought. Off to preschool, forgot all forms, inside shoes, papers. Pick up three year old, head to friends to kill time, forgot bottle, formula, wipes for your littlest. (laughing half crying at the amazement of unorganized craziness) Two hours later you pick up your 5 year old. 3 year old is eating Mcdonalds. (why not, did you just hear my morning) older kid is mad she didn't get it. Explain why. Head home. Put littlest to bed and three year old to bed. Lay down for 30 minutes of peace. (NOT) Its 2:30 EVERYBODIES UP!!! GO GO GO. (AM I still sweating) Hubby is home, Thank you Jesus. Dinner, Bath, bed. Husband says, you look tired?? (HA hmmm) Impromptu LARGE bowl of menchies to reward your self for surviving Langley construction war zone, gradual entry preschool, gradual entry kindergarten, and you make another lunch and go to bed. New life, new schedules, new lessons. I learn everyday how not together I have it. I learn every day I have so many friends who are sooo willing to help along the way. That I serve a God whose love never fails, a husband who adores me and kids who actually really like me. I cant give you an exact date as to when I will have it together! One day at time. One day at time. One coffee at a time. Cheers to new season, Hard season, season that make you grow so much you much explode.
